Amsterdam
There are almost 7000 national monuments in the city. You will find 144 large monuments, including civic buildings and churches. Most historic buildings are located within walking distance of eachother along the canals which encircle the city center.

Rotterdam
The Dutch refer to Rotterdam as 'Manhattan on the Maas'. The Netherlands Architecture Institute offers a number of very interesting architecture walks through the city. And of course a boat trip is a must during your visit to Rotterdam. The Spido harbour tour will show you the port of Rotterdam, the largest in the world.

The Hague
The Hague is a city of many faces. In the surroundings of the white city hall lies the modern centre for business and government. Lovers of historical architecture can enjoy its grand old streets and the Noordeinde Palace. A visit to Madurodam in The Hague is a must. The miniature city gives a clear impression of the architectural movements in the country.

Delft
The crisscross of canals, arched bridges, cobbled alleyways, hidden courtyards, market squares and grand town houdes make it feel like an open-air museum. The city of Delft is renowned all over the world for the Delft Blue pottery. Delft Blue porcelain is still made by hand nowadays.
